Mini Marshmallows + Toothpicks + Kids = Fun

Easiest craft ever. Just buy a huge bag of mini marshmallows from your local warehouse store, an equally large box of toothpicks and unleash the children upon both. It's like building with those fancy magnetic blocks but better, because when you're done building, you can 1) leave the marshmallow structure to harden overnight or 2) eat and demolish your creativity. Can you guess what the boys did?

Now once the younger one finished eating all his mallows he nonchalantly sidled over to big brother's side under the guise of looking. Three year olds, not being known for their poker faces, quickly put older brother on alert.

Finally he relents and shares the bounty.

We later attempted a second round where OCD momma here relived 6th grade and built a bridge model. I even dabbed glue on the marshmallow joints and left the bridge on wax paper to harden overnight. No picture because apparently glue will not deter a 5 and 3 year old from eating the marshmallows. Ewww.
